Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made and stamped by the "New York Stoneware Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This company was in production in Fort Edward, New York from 1859-1885.
 
This beauty features the pottery stamp with cobalt wash and a Large Freehand Cobalt Leaf Up the Front.  The leaf is executed in rich and shiny cobalt.  Stands 11 1/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Two small chips on the sides of the spout (1/4", 3/8"), and an 1/8" nibble on the top of the handle.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.    
 
A handsome jug with strong country appeal.
