Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Crock made and stamped by the "New York Stoneware Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This company was in production in Fort Edward, New York from 1859-1885.
 
This beauty features the, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Large Cobalt Leaf Executed with a Slip Cup.  Warm gray clay coloration with dark cobalt blue for a pleasing visual contrast.  Measures 11 1/2" tall and 12" wide across the top.
 
Excellent  Condition.  Two small chips outside the rim (1/4", 3/8"), two chips on the underside at the edge (1/4", 3/8"), and a few small and light stains from use.  That's it!  No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
