Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Uncommon 1 Gallon Ovoid Jar made and stamped by "W. Lundy & Co., Troy." 
 
This is the work of William Lundy who operated a pottery in Troy, New York from 1824 to 1828 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 66). 
 
Lundy's works are uncommon, especially decorated works.  
 
This beauty features an Ovoid Shape, Ringed Spout, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip.  Stands 10 3/4" tall.
 
Good Condition. Five 1/4" chips on the rim, a 1" chip inside the right handle, and a faint Y-shaped hairline on the underside with a faint 2" arm on the front bottom to the left (closeup).  No base chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
