Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this unusual 1 Gallon Jug made for "Louis Stover, Jr., 67+ 69 Clinton St., Buffalo, N.Y."
 
Circa 1900, this beauty features Three Colors of Glaze and Incised Advertising which I don't recall seeing before.  The top is cream, the middle is a honey brown, and the base is chocolate brown.  Typically by this time advertising was stenciled on, not incised.  Lots of visual appeal as well as historical value.  Stands 10" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Glaze wear on the left front of the spout, and a narrow 1/2" flake on the underside at the edge.  That's it!  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
