Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware 3 Gallon Ovoid Jug made and stamped by "Tyler & Dillon, Albany."
 
This is the mark of Moses Tyler and Charles Dillon who worked together in Albany, New York from 1825-1834 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 67). 
 
This beauty features well-liked Fat and Round Early Ovoid Form, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Brushed Cobalt "3" Capacity Number.  Stands 14 1/2" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  A 3/8" chip on the left side of the spout, two 1/2" chips on the right side, minor nibbles around the base, and overall medium staining from use.  No hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
