Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare 1/2 Gallon Jug made for "T. S. Angel & Son, Wholesale & Retail Dealers in Groceries, Provisions, Wines & Liquors. 32 Court Street, Watertown."
 
Dating around 1870, this beauty features Seven Lines of of Impressed Advertising with Cobalt Wash.  Stands 10" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A minor 1/8" nibble on the base and a narrow 1/2" sliver chip on the underside at the edge.  That's it!  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  
 
I have only seen one other jug made for this merchant and I grew up near Watertown.  That jug is a one gallon and is also listed on this website
