Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Cream Pot made by "T. F. Reppert, Greensboro, PA."
 
This is the work of Thomas Reppert who worked in Greensboro solo from 1884-1890 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp 157-58).
 
This beauty features a Straight and Wavy Stripe at the Top, and a Straight Stripe at the Bottom that Frame the Company Advertising centered around a Bird on a Branch in the Middle and Decorated in the Upper Corners with Tulips.  A Freehand Capacity Number Framed by Leaves Completes the Decoration at the Bottom.  Strong cobalt throughout the decoration.  Measures 9" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top.    
 
Excellent Condition.  Some light staining and surface wear.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
