Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6 Gallon Jar made by "T. F. Reppert, Greensboro, PA."
 
This is the work of Thomas Reppert who worked in Greensboro solo from 1884-1890 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp 157-58).
 
This beauty features a Larger Size, a Broad Stripe Accenting the Rim, a Broad Stripe and a Wavy Stripe Defining the Shoulder, the Company Advertising centered around a Sunrise in the Middle, and the Capacity Number Flanked by Leaves and Underscored with a Wavy and Broad Stripe Concluding the Decoration at the Bottom.   Complete and crisp stenciling.  Stands 17 1/4" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A 1/4" surface ping line on the right handle.  Otherwise, as made!
