Item 12353
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous 6 Gallon Stoneware Crock with Triple Floral Decoration.
I would attribute it to either New York or Central Pennsylvania, but would not bet the farm on that!
Crica 1870, this beauty features a Brushed Cobalt Floral with 9 Base Leaves and a Stem Sporting 3 Different Kinds of Blossoms. There is a 3 petal blossom near the bottom, a much larger blossom above it, and a thistle blossom to the right. All the cobalt is rich and shiny on a light gray glaze. Measures 13" tall and wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. A spot of glaze flakes in front of the right handle (closeup). Otherwise, no rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
A real country style crock in excellent condition.
