Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this superb 2 Gallon Whiskey Jug made for "Quinn, Oster & Lalor, Wholesale Liquor Dealers, Sole Agents for Gold Eagle Whiskey, Utica, N.Y." 
 
The jug was made and stamped by N. A. White & Son, Utica, N.Y.  This is a work of Nicholas White and his sons, William and Charles, who ran the family pottery from 1865-1886 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 69-70).
 
This beauty features a Large Size, Pottery Stamp, and 7 Lines of Advertising in Bright Cobalt.  Stands 14 3/4".  
 
While the jug is marked 2 gallon, the height indicates it is a bit larger than that. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Two 1/4" chips on the spout and some light staining on the shoulder.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
