Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Churn made by "A. P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, W.V."
Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900.
This beauty features a handsome Churn Form, Tooled and Flared Rim, Company Advertising, Sheaf of Wheat Decoration, and Capacity Number in a Wreath Framed by Diamonds. All the stenciling is crisp and complete. Stands 14 3/4" tall.
Very Good Condition. Glaze wear inside at the bottom from use with a dasher, four chips at the rim (1/8" to 3/4"), nibbles around the bottom ridge of the tooled rim, and a chip on the left (1/2") and right handle (1 1/2"). No inner rim or base chips, hairlinees, cracks, stains, or restoration.
