    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Jar made by "A. P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, W.V."

     

    Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900.

     

    This beauty features a handsome tall form with Tooled Rim, Applied Handles, Stenciled Capacity number framed by Sheaves of Wheat, and the Company Advertising below.  All the stenciling is crisp and complete.  Stands 13 3/4" tall.

     

    Very Good Condition.  A flat 1/2" chip on the left handle, a 1" chip on the base on the left side and 2" on the right side, and some scattered glaze wear.  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
