Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Staffordshire Spatterware and Transfer Handleless Cup.
 
It dates to the Mid-19th Century and was imported from England (Earl F. and Ade F. Robacker, Spatterware and Sponge, pp. 110-111)
 
This beauty features a Blue Spatter Edge and Exterior, and a Blue Transfer Federal Eagle with Shield Inside.  The eagle clutches three arrows and the shield bears thirteen stars.  Measures 2 1/2" tall and in 4" diameter. 
 
Good Condition.  Overall staining from use and a 1/4" chip on the footer.  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
