    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Milk Bowl made and stamped twice by "Sipe & Son, W'msport, PA." [Williamsport]

     

    This is the mark of William Sipe and his sons who ran their pottery with this stamp from 1879-1893 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 62-63).

     

    This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip Blossom.  An extra pottery stamp adorns the back.  Measures 5 1/4" tall and 10 1/4" wide across the top.

     

    Very Good Condition.  Five small chips inside the rim (1/8" to 3/8"), and two outside the rim (5/8", 3/4").   No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
