Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Superb 4 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Satterlee & Mory, Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of George Satterlee and Michael Mory who ran this pottery together from 1859-1885 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
 
This beauty sports a Larger Size, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Splendid Large Tripartite Cobalt Leaf Decoration.  The leaf is detailed and the cobalt is bright and shiny.   Stands 18" tall.  
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
