Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 1 Gallon Merchant Jug made for "Riedel & Hill, Utica, N.Y."
This jug was made for Riedel and Hill by the Whites Pottery of Utica, New York.
Dating around 1900, this beauty features a Cream White Glaze with Two Lines of Advertising Stenciled in Full 1" Letters of Bright and Shiny Cobalt. Stands 11 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. A pinhead-size nibble on the spout and a 1/4" chip on the underside. That's it! No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
