Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare 1 Gallon Stoneware Merchant Script Crock made for "J. H. Locke, Dry Goods & Groceries, Olive Bridge, N.Y."  
 
Olive Bridge is now Olivebridge and is located in Ulster County, New York in the Catskill Park and Mountains.  
 
Circa 1870, this Crock has it all:  Small Size, Script Advertising for a Country Store, and Origin from a Very Small Town in Excellent Condition.  Measures 7 1/2" tall and 7 1/2" wide across the top. 
 
I can say with little doubt, we will never see another one. 
 
Excellent Condition. A light dime-size stain.  That's it!  Otherwise, as made!
