Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped "Geddes, N.Y." 

 

This crock was made in Geddes (Syracuse area) probably by Charles Hubbell and Dennison Chesebro (1867-87) (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 70). 

 

This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Freehand Geometric Decoration with Three Tornados Framing a Triangle with a Center Dot!   Bright and Dark Cobalt too!  Stands 14" tall.

 

Exceptional Condition.  As made. No damage of any kind. A 1 1/2" drying/firing line on the back bottom that wraps under 1" in the making (closeup).
