Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare 5 Gallon Cream Pot made and stamped by "L. S. Darrow, Baldswinville." 
 
This is the work of Lansing Darrow of Baldwinsville, New York.  This mark was used briefly in the period of 1872-1876 when Lansing's father, John, retired from the business and Lansing worked alone.  The company was shut down in 1876 (William Ketchum, Jr., Potters and Potteries of New York State, 1650-1900, pp. 302-303. 
 
Ths sports an Unusual Large Cream Pot Form, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and Double Floral with Dotted Petals Riding a Looping Stem.  Measures 11" tall and 11 1/2" wide across the top. 
 
Very Good Condition with restoration.  Minor chips under each handle and professional restoration for a line from the rim down between the right flower and the handle to midway (closeup).  It is very well down.  Otherwise, as made.
