Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is a Rare Canning Jar made for "Chas. Boese & Co., New York."
This jar was made in Southwestern PA. I have never seen or heard of a canning jar with New York advertising made in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
This beauty features a Carefully Tooled Rim with Inner Ledge for a Lid, Three Lines of Stenciled Advertising with Accent Florals, and a Tiny 5 7/8" size.
Good Condition. A crack in the back from the rim down to the base and halfway across the base. Wear around the inner rim from use with a lid.
