    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this very attractive Blue and White Plate made by "R. Hammersley" who made pottery in England for the American market. 


    Dating to the mid-19th century, this beauty features a Cut or Design Sponge Border and a Transfer Print of a Folk Art Eagle Standing on a Flag Shield and a Banner Reading, "E. Pluribus Unum."  The cobalt is rich and dark.  Measures 8 5/8" in diameter.


    Excellent Condition.  Some very minor surface wear.   That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
