Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Blue and White Circular Soap Dish in the Cat's Face Pattern.
 
You can see a fine writeup in Terry Taylor and Terry & Kay Lowrance, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, p. 221. 
 
Dating to the early 20th century, this beauty features an Embossed Cat Face with Diffused Blue Coloration.  Measures 4 1/2" in diameter and 7/8" tall.
 
These were once reproduced.  This one is original.
 
Excellent Condition. Two small 3/16" nibbles- one on the front top and one on the rear top.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
