Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Blue and White Pitcher in the Shield Pattern.
 
This beauty features a Large Shield on Each Side Framed by 6 Raised Rings Top and Bottom. Very pretty diffused blue coloring.  Stands 8" tall.
 
You can find a fine writeup on this item in Taylor and Lowrance's, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware , p. 74. These are very hard to find.
 
Very Good Condition.  A tiny chip and 1" ping line on the rim on one side that is seen inside as  1" horizontal line a 1/2" below the rim (closeups).  No inner rim or base ships, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
