Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Stoneware Butter Crock with Lid.
 
Dating to the early 20th century, this beauty features Four Blue Stripes on the Base and Two on the Lid.  The lid is original.  Measures 4 1/2" tall and 6" wide across the top.
 
Excellent Condition.  The base has a little roughness on the top (1"), but it appears to me to be in the making.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The lid has a series of small nibbles on the underside at the edge and the seating ring, with two larger chips 1/2" chips on both.  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
