    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this unique 3 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "R. & B. Diebboll, Washington, MI." 

     

    This is the work Robert Diebboll and his son, Bruce, who founded the Pines End Pottery in 1966 and made pottery until his passing in 2011. The stoneware was made with classic forms and decorations and carried on the American tradition of salt-glaze pottery with stunning success. His work is highly sought after for its artistry and quality.

     

    This beauty features an Exceptionally Large Size of 3 Gallon, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Detailed Farm Scene.  A farmhouse and barn occupy the top, a larger tree with two rabbits playing under it defines the left side, a farmer carrying two pails accompanied by his dog stride in the middle, and three chickens are pecking corn around the bottom.  Lots of detailed foliage.  Stands 16" tall. 

     

    Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
