Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Wax Sealer Fruit Jar made and stenciled by the "Palatine Pottery Co., Palatine, W.V A." (Modern Fairmont)
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Tall and Sleak Form, Tooled Rim with Groove for the Wax, and the Company Stencil Surrounding a Dog.  Stencils from this pottery are often incomplete, but this one is crisp and complete. Stands 10 1/2" tall.
 
Excelllent Condition.  A 1/2" chip on the base in the back.  That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Exceptionally clean.
