Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this rare 1 Gallon Jar that reads, "Sold by L. Paddock & Son, Watertown, Jefferson Co.  Cheaper than the Cheapest." 
 
Circa 1870, this little jar is one of the few I have ever seen from Watertown, N.Y.  Sports 4 Lines of Impressed Advertising.  Stands 9" tall.  I have matched it up with a lid.
 
Good Condition.  Small chips around the inner seating ring where the lid sits, and outside the top rim.  No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A 1/4" chip on the edge of the lid.
