Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by the "Ottman Bro's & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1872-1892 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware , p. 68).
 
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Large Bluebird on a Branch.  He looks like he is just about to take off.  Bright Cobalt.  Stands 14 3/4" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  Two chips on the spout (1/2", 3/4"), and a small oval 1/4" chip on the right side of the wing.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
