Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful  3 Gallon Crock made and stenciled by the "Norwich Pottery Works" of Norwich, Connecticut.
 
This company was in business from 1882 to 1895 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 56). 
 
This beauty features the Company Name inside the Wings of a Very Proud Eagle with Wings Spread and Arrows in its Talons.  The eagle is executed in dark cobalt and with all details clear.  Measures 10 1/2" tall and 11" wide across the top.
 
Good Condition.  Some water glass rings inside, minor chips inside the rim (1/4" or less), and a faint hairline from the rim in the front (3") and back (4") (closeups).  No base chips or restoration.
