Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Stoneware Ovoid Jar made and stamped by "M. Tyler, Albany, Manufacturer."
 
This is the mark of Moses Tyler in Albany, New York from 1834 to 1847 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 67). 
 
This beauty features an Early Ovoid Form, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip.  Measures 12" tall and 10" wide across the top.
 
Excellent Condition.  Three small chips on the outside of the rim (1/8" to 1/4"), a surface-only crow's foot on the back (closeup), and a couple minor stains from use.  That's it!  No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
