Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Jug stamped "Lyons." 
 
This is attributed to Thompson Harrington who ran the pottery in Lyons from 1852 to 1872 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 73-74).
 
This beauty sports a Brushed Cobalt Capacity Number,  Pottery Stamp "Lyons" with Cobalt Wash, and a Brushed Cobalt Three Leaf Clover on a Stem.  Stands 14 1/4" tall.    
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made. No damage of any kind.  The narrow chip on the underside is in the making.
