Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Preserve Jar stamped "Lyons."
This is the work of Jacob Fisher who ran the pottery in Lyons from 1872-1902 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 74).
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp, Freehand Capacity Number "2", and a Large Brushed Cobalt Leaf that Fills the Front. Stands 11 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. A couple of small, faint stains. That's it1 No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
