Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Cute 1 Gallon Stoneware Semi-Ovoid Jug made and stamped "Lyons."
 
This is likely the work of Thompson Harrington who ran the pottery in Lyons from 1852 to 1872 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp 73-74).
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Freehand Wreath with Dotted Center.   Stands 11 1/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A small glaze wear spot and a 3/8" chip in a kiln touch on the right side. That's it!  No spout or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
