Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Jug made for the merchant, "John Spilman, Wholesale Liquor Dealer."  Spilman operated out of North Tonawanda, N.Y.
 
The jug was made and stamped by "J. Fisher, Lyons, N.Y."  Jacob Fisher worked in Lyons from 1872-1902 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 74).
 
This beauty features a Larger 3 Gallon Size, Pottery Stamp, and Two Wide Lines of Cobalt Script Advertising.  Stands 15 1/4" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  Some minor nibbles on the base and some staining from use.  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
