Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jar made by "Jas. Benjamin, Stoneware Depot, Cincinnati, O."
 
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features the Semi-Squared Rim, Straight Sides, and the Company Advertising in 5 Lines of Large Cobalt Stenciled Lettering--All Framed by a Border of Dashes.  One of the more elaborate stencils for this merchant.  Stands 9" tall.
 
Very Good Condition. A very faint 4" hairline from the rim in the back (closeup) and some scattered light staining.  No rim or base chips, cracks, or restoration.
