Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Jug made and stamped "Lyons."
 
This is the work of Jacob Fisher who ran the pottery in Lyons from 1872-1902 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 74).
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp, and Brushed Cobalt Capacity Number "2" and a Double Floral.  The floral sports 7 leaves and 2 buds in bright and shiny cobalt.  Stands 13 1/2" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A 1/4" chip inside the spout and two small stains on the back.  That's it!  No outer spour or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
