Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Merchant Jug made for "Hogan & O'Connell, 43 King St., Troy, N.Y."

Of all the merchant jugs I have seen from Troy and Albany, I have not run across this name nor can I find any images of stoneware with this name that ever sold.

This beauty was probably made in Fort Edward, N.Y. about 1880.

This beauty features Three Lines of Large Block Letters in Bold Cobalt.  Stands 11 1/4" tall.

Excellent Condition.  Some faint staining on the left side from use. That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
