Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made for "Henry Smith, Wines & Liquors, 528 Deer St., Dunkirk, N.Y." 

 

Smith had this jug made by the Burley & Winter Pottery of Crooksville, Ohio as the heart around the capacity number indicates.  

 

Circa 1900 to 1920, this beauty features the Platform Shape, Capacity Number in a Heart, and Five Lines of Stenciled Cobalt Lettering.  Attractive blue on white contrast.  Stands 13 1/2" tall.

 

Excellent Condition.  Four small chips on the platform (1/8" to 3/8"), and three 1/4" chips on the base with a larger chip on the base of the right side as shown.  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Typical manufacturing imperfections.
