Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Haxstun, Ottman & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun and William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1867-1872 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp and a Large Bird Poised on a Dotted Branch Decoration. Stands 15 3/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. A narrow 3/4" chip on the spout. Otherwise, as made! Exceptionally clean example.
