Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Stoneware Jug made and stamped by "Haxstun, Ottman & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun and William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1867-1872 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
 
This beauty features a Larger Size, the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Large Triple Dotted Leaf Decoration.  Stands 15 1/4" tall. 
 
Perfect size for the hearth or alongside a larger cabinet on the floor. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Three pinprick-size and one 1/8" nibble on the spout, and some scattered light stains.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
