Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Crock made and stamped by "Haxstun & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun who ran the company from 1875-1882 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
 
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Large Freehand Floral Arrangmeent Across the Front.  Measures 11 1/4" tall and 11 3/4" wide across the top.     
 
Very Good Condition. A 1/4" chip under the rim in the back and some staining from use.  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
