Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Preserve Jar made and stamped by "Haxstun & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun who ran the company from 1875-1882 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Dotted Leaf Decoration. Stands 12" tall.
Excellent Condition. A 1/2" chip under the left handle. That's it! No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
