Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Haxstun & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."  
 
This is the work of Andrew K. Haxstun who ran a pottery in Fort Edward from 1875 to 1882 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68). 
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Large Stylized Floral Bouquet.  The cobalt is bright and shiny and fills the front with cobalt joy!  Stands 14" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  A 3/8" chip inside the spout, and a stain on the back at the bottom.  No outer spout or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
