Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 7 1/4" Stoneware Pitcher made and stamped by the "Beaumont Pottery, York, Maine."  
 
It is the work of Jerry Beaumont who inscribed his trademark cross and the date 1986 on the bottom.  In my humble opinion, Mr. Beaumont has been and continues to be one of the best contemporary potters in America today.  His work from York, Maine was some of his finest.  
 
This beauty features a Tooled Ribbed Rim, Pinched Spout, Bulbous Body, and Brushed Cobalt Florals.  The spout and neck sport 7 clovers and the base boasts of 5 larger daisy blossoms. The decoration exhibits very bright and shiny cobalt.  Stands 7 1/4" tall.  
 
Exceptional Condition. As made.  No damage of any kind.
