Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this sweet 1Gallon Jar from Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Tooled Grooved Rim for Ease of Tying a Waxed Paper or Cloth over the Top and Brushed Cobalt Decoration Around the Shoulder.  The decoration consists of four comma vines, from which a flower blossom dangles from two.  Dark and shiny cobalt was used throughout the decoration.  Stands 9 3/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A 3/8" chip on the rim and base.  That's it!  No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
