Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 5 Gallon Jar made by "R. T. Williams, New Geneva, PA." 
 
This is the work of Robert T. Williams who worked in New Geneva, PA from 1882 to 1895 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp. 168-170).
 
This beauty features a Larger Size, Tooled Rim accented with a Straight Stripe, Shoulder decorated with Two Wavy Stripes, Body Displaying the Company Advertising, and the Base Bearing a Large "5" Capacity Number Flanked by Dashes and Underscored by a Broad Straight Stripe.  Stands 15 3/4" tall.  
 
This piece was fired with wood and not coal as Williams later used, so it has a light coloration and better contrasty. 
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
