Coming to you from Doc's Crocks, is this wonderful Little 1/2 Gallon Jar made and stamped by "T. Anderson. " This is the work of Thomas Anderson who built and operated a pottery in West Lebanon, Indiana County , Pennsylvania from about 1830 to about 1863 (see Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, p. 108).
This beauty features a Small Size, Tooled Rim and Shoulder, Bulbous Base, Applied Handles, and the Pottery Stamp in Large Letters Impressed on the Rim. Measures 7 1/4" tall and 6" wide across the top.
Very Good Condition. A 3" hairline from the rim in the back (closeup). No rim or base chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
