Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped "Geddes, N.Y." 

 

This crock was made in Geddes (Syracuse area) probably by Charles Hubbell and Dennison Chesebro (1867-87) (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 70). 

 

This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, Freehand Geometric Decoration with Four Tornados and an X Overlapped.   Bright and Dark Cobalt too!  Stands 15" tall.

 

Very Good Condition. A 3/8" chip iinside the spout, a minor nibble outside the spout, a 1/4" chip on the bottom in the back, and some staining from use.  No hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
