Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this early 2 Gallon Ovoid Jug made and stamped by "G. Heiser, Buffalo, N.Y."  
 
This is the mark of Godfrey Heiser who ran a pottery in Buffalo from 1835-1848 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 75).  
 
This beauty features the Early Ovoid Shape, Clear Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Brushed Cobalt Tree with Ground Cover.  Stands 13 1/2" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  A 1/4" chip on top of the handle, minor nibbles around the base, and staining from use.  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
