Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by the "Fort Edward Pottery Co."

This is the stamp of George A. Satterley who ran a pottery in Fort Edward, New York under this stamp from 1859-1861 (William Ketchum, Jr., Potters and Potteries of New York State, 1650-1900, 2nd ed., p. 248).

This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Cornucopia Decoration with Fruit Coming out the Top and Dots on the Side. Exceptionally strong and bright cobalt.  Stands 14" tall.

Very Good Condition.  Chipping on top of the spout, and faint lines on the underside (the large line on the underside is a scratch in the wet clay before firing, not a crack).  No base chips, stains, or restoration.
